Achari Arbi RecipeThe arbi fry recmade using the spices of pickle is different in taste and is delicious. Achari arbi with puri or paratha, can be carried along with us when going out for a journey or to a picnic, everyone will like it.Ingredients for Colocasia in pickle spicesArbi - 250 gram ( boiled 10-12 Arbi of medium size)Mustard oil - 2-3 tbspCoriander leaves - 2-3 tbsp finely choppedGreen chilly (Hari Mirch) - 4 (cut length wise)Ginger - ½ inch (mashed)Coriander powder (dhaniya) - ½ tspAniseed powder (saunf) - ½ tspDried mango powder (amchoor) - ¼ tspTurmeric powder (haldi) - ¼ tspRed chilly powder (lal mirch) - ¼ tspGaram Masala - less than ¼ tspSalt - ¾ tsp (or as per taste)Kalonji - ¼ tspFenugreek seeds (methi seeds) - ¼ tspMustard seeds (rai) - ¼ tspCarom Seeds (ajwain) - ¼ tspCumin seeds (jeera) - ¼ tspAsafetida (hing) - 2 pinchHow to make Achari ArbiFirst of all peel the Arbi, cut the peeled out arbi lengthwise in two equal parts. Put oil in a pan and let it heat, in the hot oil add cumin seeds, carom seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, kalonji and asafetida. After roasting the spices, add green chilly and ginger. Fry the spices a little more. Add turmeric powder, aniseed powder and coriander powder and mix everything well. Now finally add Arbi to it. Add salt, red chilly and dried mango powder to it, keep stirring and cook it for sometime. Add coriander leaves and garam masala to the Arbi and cook it for another 2-3 minutes, so that the coating of the spices mixes well.Our Achari Arbi is ready, now take out the Achari Arbi in a bowl. Serve the delicious Achari Arbi with a chapati, paratha or puri.Time : 20 MinutesQuantity : This much Arbi can be served to 4-5 people.It can be served as a side dish.

Your recpies are wonderful and easy to cook by any one with a slight knowledge of cooking. best part is that unlike most of other cooking recipe site, your recipies do not have garlic and onion as a must in every veg dish.at our home we don't eat onion and garlic so your recipies are like a gush of fresh air to a suffocating person.
