Ingredients for Lachcha Paratha Recipe
- Wheat Flour - 400 gms. (4 small bowls)
- Coriander powder - 2 tea spoon.
- Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
- Salt - 1 tea spoon.
- Red chilli powder - 1.2 tea spoon.
- Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
- Amchoor powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
- Ghee or oil - to roast the paranthas.
Method - How to make Lachcha Paratha Recipe
Mix salt and 1 table spoon oil in the flour and knead it with 200 gms of water to make a smooth dough. leave the dough for 20 minutes.
Make a mix of all the spices in a plate consisting of coriander powder, cumin seeds, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and amchoor powder.
Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a round shape. Dust the ball with some dry flour and apply 1 tea spoon oil over it. Now roll the ball into a flat disc of 4-5 inch, followed by applying 1 tea spoon oil over it. Sprinkle 1/2 tea spoon masala mix on the parantha and spread it evenly. Roll the parantha again and roll it 1-2 times to make it flat. Again apply 1/2 tea spoon oil and very little masala mix on the new layer and roll it. Press the parantha with hands and roll it into a round ball. Dust the ball with dry flour and roll it into a flat disc of 6-7 inch. Roast the parantha on the pan on medium flame till it turns brown from both the sides. Prepare all the paranthas in the same manner.
Hot and crispy Lachcha Parantha is ready. Serve them with aloo matar recipe, curd or pickle.
