There are many types of pedas and their sweet taste is very wonderful in each type. Today we are going to make Pedas made of milk powder with a very easy method. Very little ingredients will be used in this and they will be ready in a jiffy. You can offer them as prasad or you can make these pedas even if you want to make something sweet for the children.
Ingredients for Milk Powder Peda
Desi Ghee - 2 tbsp
Full Cream Milk - 1 cup (225 ml)
Milk Powder - 2 cups (250 grams)
Powdered Sugar - ½ cup (75 g)
Cardamom - 4 ground
Pistachio Flakes
Process of making dough for Milk Powder Peda
Melt 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Then add 1 cup of milk (milk will be boiled and cooled) and mix it well. Now turn off the flame and mix the milk and ghee well. Then add 2 cups of milk powder little by little and keep mixing it till it becomes a dough. Remember to mix them without burning the flame.
After mixing it well, burn the gas and cook it on low-medium flame by stirring it continuously. Now reduce the flame to low and keep stirring it till it thickens. After thickening, turn off the flame and take out the mawa in a bowl and let it cool.
Process of making Milk Powder Peda
After the mawa cools down, add ½ cup (75 grams) of sugar powder and 4 crushed cardamoms and mix it well with your hands. After mixing, start making pedas, for this take a little ghee in your hand and take out a little dough, make it round and press lightly from the middle. Now put pistachios on top and keep it, milk powder peda will be ready, similarly make all the pedas and enjoy delicious milk powder pedas.
Suggestions
While making mawa from milk powder, first mix the mixture well without burning the gas. After mixing well, keep cooking on low-medium flame while stirring continuously till the dough is formed.
As soon as the mawa dough is formed, immediately take it out in a bowl and let it cool.
Add sugar powder only after the mawa cools down completely, otherwise the mixture will become thin.
