Instant Masala Dosa Recipe

Dosa is the most delicious, spicy and light snack. But if dosa is made in a traditional way, then it becomes a very long method. Therefore, to make this method easy and prepare dosa in less time, today we will make dosa with a different method. They will be prepared very quickly, also they will be cooked very crunchy and delicious. Along with this, we will make peanut and coconut chutney with which dosa tastes very tasty.
Ingredients for Instant Dosa
For Peanut Coconut Chutney
Peanuts - ½ cup, roasted
Fresh Coconut - ½ cup, grated
Green Chilli - 2
Ginger - ½ inch
Salt - more than ½ tsp
Lemon Juice - ½ lemon
For Dosa Batter
Rice - 1.5 cups (300 grams)
Black Gram Lentils - ½ cup (100 grams)
Fenugreek Seeds - ½ tsp
Curd - ¾ cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Baking Soda - ¼ tsp
For Aloo Masala
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - ¼ tsp
Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - 20-25
Tomato - 1, finely chopped
Ginger - 1 tsp, grated
Green Chilli - 2, finely chopped
Potato - 4, boiled
Salt - ¾ tsp
For Tadka
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - ¼ tsp
Red Chilli - 1
Curry Leaves - 6-7
Kashmiri Red Chilli - 1 pinch
Process of making batter
Wash 1.5 cup (300 grams) of rice and ½ cup (100 grams) of urad dal thoroughly and soak in water for 20 minutes. Add ½ tsp of fenugreek seeds to urad dal and soak it. After the time is up, remove the water and put rice in the mixer jar and grind it. Then take it out in a bowl and put lentils, ¾ cup of curd and 1 tbsp of oil in the same jar. Now grind them finely and take them out in the same bowl.
After this, pour ¼ cup of water in the jar and stir it, all the pulses will come in it. Put this also in the bowl. Now mix the dal and rice mixture well. Then add 1 tsp of salt and some water and mix it. The batter should be neither too thin nor too thick. In this way the batter for the dosa will be ready, cover it and keep it.
Process of making Aloo Masala
Put 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and heat it. Add ¼ tsp of mustard seeds, ½ tsp of cumin seeds, ½ tsp of turmeric and 20-25 curry leaves and fry lightly in hot oil. When roasted, add 1 finely chopped tomato, 1 tsp of grated ginger and 2 finely chopped green chilies. After frying them a little, add some water to it, cover and cook them for 2 minutes.
When the time is up, mash the tomatoes. Then break 4 boiled potatoes into it, add ¾ tsp of salt, 1 tsp of coriander powder, ½ tsp of red chilli powder and a little less than ¼ tsp of garam masala. Now put 3-4 tbsp of water on medium flame and fry them while mashing them well. Fry them for about 4-5 minutes and the potato masala will be ready. Take them out and let them cool down.
Process of making Peanut Coconut Chutney
Put ½ cup of roasted peeled peanuts, ½ cup of fresh grated coconut, 2 green chilies, ½ inch of ginger,a little more than ½ tsp of salt, juice of ½ lemon and ¼ cup of water in a mixer jar. Now grind them lightly. Chutney will be ready.
Now heat 1 tsp of oil in a tadka pan. Put ¼ tsp of mustard seeds, 1 whole red chili and 6-7 curry leaves in hot oil and turn off the flame. Then add 1 pinch of kashmiri red chilli to it and mix it lightly. Peanut coconut chutney will be ready.
Process of making Dosa
Add ¼ tsp of baking soda to the batter and mix it well. Now put some oil on the tawa and spread it all around and heat it. When the tawa is hot, pour some water on it and cool the tawa. Turn off the flame and wipe the pan. Then put the batter on the pan and spread it on the pan, making a round. Now after lighting the flame, pour some oil on the corners and cook the dosa. When brown lines start shining from the bottom of the dosa, then put potato masala on it, fold it and keep it in a plate. Make all the dosas in the same way, the masala dosa will be ready.
Suggestions
Batter should be of perfect consistency.
If the batter looks thick while spreading on the pan, then you can add some water to it.
The tawa should be very cold while spreading the dosa. For this, wipe the pan with water and turn off the flame or slow it down. When the dosa is spread, then roast it by increasing the flame.
