Ladoo of chestnut flour and peanuts is a perfect sweet to consume during the days of fasting. It is a perfect source of energy and tastier to eat too.
Ingredients for Ladoo of chestnut flour and peanuts
- Chestnut flour - 3/4 cup (100 grams)
- Peanuts (roasted) - 3/4 cup (100 grams)
- Ghee - 1/2 cup (100 grams)
- Desiccated coconut - 1/2 cup (40 grams)
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
- Powdered sugar - 1.5 cups (150 grams)
How to make Ladoo of chestnut flour and peanuts
Take a 3/4 cup of peanuts, roast and peel them. After peeling them, grind them coarsely ground. Preheat a pan,add 3 tablespoons of clarified butter in it and melt it.
Add a 3/4 cup of chestnut flour and roast while continuously stirring it until there is a soothing fragrance from it on medium flame. Turn the flame to low and add peanut powder to it.
Roast while continuously stirring it for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, add a 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut to it and roast it for 2 minutes. After roasting it, pour it in a bowl and cool it.
Mix 1.5 cups of powdered sugar to it and mix well. After mixing it, add a 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder to it. Mix all the ingredients well. After making the desired mixture, lift some of it, and bind it between your palms.
Coat it with desiccated coconut and a Ladoo is ready. Bind all the Ladoos likewise and serve them. You can store these for days too.
