- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Oil for frying
How to make Luchi Poori
Take 2 cups of refined flour in a bowl, add a 1/2 teaspoon of salt, a tablespoon of oil to it and mix well. After mixing all the ingredients well, add more than a 1/2 cup of water to it in intervals and knead its stiff dough.
After kneading the dough, cover and keep it aside to rest for 20 minutes. Mash the dough politely after 20 minutes. Preheat oil in a wok for frying and divide the smaller sized lumps.
Take a lump, roll it and flatten it into a shape of a Peda by pressing it. Take rolling-board and grease it with some oil. After greasing it, flatten the Poori into a diameter of 3 to 4 inches evenly from all corners.
After the oil has heated, add a Poori in it for frying. Press it with a ladle until it expands and fry until it becomes golden. After frying it golden, drain it out and fry the rest of Pooris likewise.
24 Pooris can be made from the used quantity of ingredients. Serve it along with Potato curry, Dum Aloo or any desired curry.
