How to Make Ginger Paste and Green Chilli Paste

With busy morning schedule we hardly get time to manage breakfast. With this if we have ginger and green chilly paste ready then it gets little time saving. Ginger and green chilly paste can be prepared very easily.

Ingredients for Ginger Paste and Green Chilli Paste

  • Ginger - 100 grams
  • Green chilly - 100 grams
  • Oil - 4 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 4 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp

How to Make Green Chilli Paste

Thoroughly wash green chilies. Remove stalk from all chilies. Take all chilies and grind them finely in a mixture grinder. Take out paste in a bowl. Add ½ tsp salt, 2 tsp oil and 2 tsp lemon juice. Mix all ingredients really well. Green chilly paste is ready. 

How to Make Ginger Paste and Green Chilli Paste

Wash ginger and dry it completely. Peel the ginger to remove skin thinly. Ginger paste can be prepared with two methods. First; finely grate ginger with help of a grated and make paste.

Second, chop the ginger into fine pieces and then grind it in mixer grinder. So use either ways to make ginger paste. Take out paste in a bowl and add ½ tsp salt, 2 tsp oil and 2 tsp lemon juice. Mix all ingredients well. Ginger paste is ready.

 Store ginger and green chilly paste in an airtight container and place it in fridge. It can be used for up to 8-10 days. Paste if stored in freezer can be used for many days.

 Suggestion:

Similarly you can also prepare garlic paste. For this take 100 grams garlic cloves, peel and make paste. Take it out in a bowl and add ½ tsp salt, 2 tsp oil and 2 tsp lemon juice. Mix all ingredients nicely. Store it in airtight container and use for upto 8-10 days.
